Originally recorded to fulfill an art school assignment, Goldfish... was meant to be both a recording project and live performance. The backing tracks were recorded in a studio in the haunted Coyote Building in Wicker Park, Chicago and were meant to be played as an accompaniment for live musical contributions. The tracks from Goldfish… are decidedly atmospheric and strange. Liberal doses of E-Bowed guitar and haunting samples round out this enigmatic recording.
