SlowBurn Records can't honestly vouch for the artistic or aesthetic integrity of this release but it certainly is fun. Being a little obsessed with Christmas songs, Eric Johnson began to compile a collection of cover versions of Christmas classics in 2003, completing the project in fall 2007. The idea was to record some Christmas songs with ye ole' four track recorder to give the songs that warm glow of analog recording that only the four track can give. The results are perhaps best enjoyed with a strong class of eggnog on Christmas Eve, rather with family on Christmas Day. Included in the collection is a power-house version of "We Three Kings" recorded live in December 2003 by Sun Zoom Spark.
