| Home | Universal Structure SBR 004 Sometime during the spring 1989 Universal's Eric Johnson remembered that he learned to play the piano when he was in grade school. Out of the renewed interest in the instrument, Universal recorded a primative-sounding project called Structure. The project was an exploration of piano songs and improvisations. While the project may not be the most successful Universal recorded in its lifetime, it lead the way to further experiments on the piano on releases like Oceans and culminating in the epic piano, drums, bass recordings of the Future 47 period. |
