SlowBurn Records has just added a video for the original version of “Moonchild” from Synesthesia’s “Tradition” collection. The music and the artwork series featured in the video were inspired by the novel “Moonchild” by Aleister Crowley and by astral projection, in general. Both were recorded in Madison Wisconsin in 1992-93.

Michael Davis RIP

Just wanted to say cheers to Michael Davis, former bassist for the MC5. Davis did a stint in Tucson about 10 years ago and got to meet him a couple of times. He was a thoughtful nice guy, great storyteller and knew a thing or two about kicking out the jams. If the clip below isn’t what rock n roll should be about – please take me out and shoot me now.
