Just wanted to say cheers to Michael Davis, former bassist for the MC5.  Davis did a stint in Tucson about 10 years ago and got to meet him a couple of times.  He was a thoughtful nice guy, great storyteller and knew a thing or two about kicking out the jams.  If the clip below isn’t what rock n roll should be about – please take me out and shoot me now.
