Sun Zoom Spark participated in the annual Great Cover-Up gig to benefit the homeless in Tucson in 2002 and 2004.  Each year, SZS played a tribute set to a favorite musical artist, Camper Van Beethoven and the 13th Floor Elevators, respectfully. Because of the work that went into learning the material, SZS chose to record the songs for posterity.  The recordings of these cover songs are included here. As the band were recording Saturn Return, they were interested including some extended improvisations on the album.  Their efforts led to the Nocturnum track on Saturn Return, however SZS recorded several other jams during that session, two of which are featured in this collection, along with an out-take from Saturn Return studo sessions called Perfect Crime.
